Dance Music videos, mostly of Soul Train. I prefer Soul Train of the mid 70s and Bandstand from the Philadelphia era. I include some Bandstand and Soul Train in the 80s.
****I want to remind people who leave comments, that this page is to honor both Soul Train and American Bandstand. Lately, I have removed quite a few racist comments. If anyone leaves any sort of racist comment, I will not only remove the comment as well as access to the videos. This page is for unity through music. Let's appreciate the two shows. Leave racism out of it. I am sorry I have to write this, but it is for the best that I bring it up. Thanks...Steve*****

Hard to believe that Earth, Wind and Fire never appeared on Soul Train.

These kids didn't quite know how to handke a Bossa Nova beat....
Fun flashback, even one dude doing a break-dancing move. This is still a great song.
Love this song!
0:36 😍😍😍
Why does this video put a smile on my face?
Weird to see women with healthy bodies.
The 80s couldn't dance.. the 70s crush it
Nobody knows how to enjoy themselves anymore. I was a teenager in the 90s but distinctly remember my Aunties pulling moves like this when I was a kid in the 80s! The party/club experience was the best until the late 2000s.
Good music
All of the men were so skinny
YOU CANT ( BEAT IT). SORRY FOR THE PUN. BEST TV EVER
Funny😂
0:45 Shalamar, before they were famous😮

The ladies on Soul Train were my fashion inspiration. I still prefer fashionable but modest dressing. Love the white gauchos with boots at 1:15
1:00 Sharon Hill in black has a how I became a Soul Train Dancer interview here on UA-cam- interesting story. I think her dance partner was Tyrone Proctor.

Me in the living room when my lawsuit drops
I love me some Soul Train, and I love this Eddie Kendricks song. Growing up in the 70's me and my siblings couldn't wait to see the dancers and the musical guest every saturday. I had the pleasure of hearing this beautiful song on my XM "Smokey's Soul Town". It was like revisiting an old friend, because I hadn't heard this classic since the 70's, As I wasn't listening to this song I just now realized that Eddie was singing about Jesus, my Lord and Savior, which was an extra bonus for me as I was closely listening to the lyrics. So much great music from that era. It's 2nd 2 none. Peace Out. 😊
Differences between then and now: more people smiling, no BBLs, the song has a real singer. And love how some magician dancers used fire to make Santa Claus appear at the end.
2024 gang!!!!
The 70s is the decade I wish I grew up in.. the hair, the clothes, the music, the dancing, the lingo …..
Ngl zesty dude was hittin it
Bella canción mítica épica e inolvidable
A great time for African American music and dance!
Barry White always had the best strings in his music. 💙
LOVE this. You can tell disco was pretty much out by the time 1980 rolled around. The fashion was completely different.
When black kids "HAD" soul..
Twirling couple dominated this!
This kind of music made forget your problems..you dance and felt free..miss it so much anyway ..shout out.... For classic r n b dance in 2024....
The outfits are particularly fire 🔥 in this one! 🙌🏼
The one on the skateboard though 😂🙌🏼
The guy at 1:38
Hell ya .. that was awesome
This song is so dumb.
Disco was the best on Soul Train!
The Puerto Rican girl at 1:30 is getting down!!! 😂😂😂

I remember seeing this as a kid and shorty with the long hair messed me up for a lifetime because that level of sexiness was otherworldly
How many people can kick their legs that high ? Our parents were athletic 😂
